Cloud Engineer

Description

In this role, the Cloud Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting the cloud infrastructure and services for TEKsystems' clients. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, ensuring high availability and performance of cloud environments, and collaborating with various teams to integrate cloud systems with other IT services. The Cloud Engineer will also be expected to troubleshoot issues, optimize cloud resources, and implement security measures to protect cloud data and applications. The role involves working with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential as the position involves working with both internal teams and external clients to meet business needs.

Additional Skills Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with cloud management tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native services.
• Must have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in cloud environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be located in the following states: Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas.
