As a Retail Merchandiser at Acosta Group, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing product visibility and sales for our clients. This involves executing merchandising strategies, ensuring optimal product placement, and maintaining attractive displays in retail environments. Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strong desire and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and modernize our services and capabilities.
  • Proven strong and effective time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, and email programs.
  • Strong communication skills, both internal and external.
  • Motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Efficient and effective use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to represent Acosta Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to adhere to assigned deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.

Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Implement merchandising plans and strategies to optimize product placement and visibility within retail stores.
  • Ensure all products are properly stocked, faced, and priced according to planograms and client directives.
  • Set up and maintain promotional displays, signage, and other marketing materials.
  • Conduct in-store product audits, gathering data on stock levels, display compliance, and competitor activity.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with store managers and retail staff.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding store conditions, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports on merchandising activities, store visits, and any issues encountered.
  • Identify and report on opportunities to improve product presentation and sales performance.
  • Support the execution of new product introductions and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
  • Perform any additional job functions necessary to support client objectives and retail success.
