In this role, the Helpdesk Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to employees, ensuring the efficient resolution of IT-related issues. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting in the setup and configuration of computer systems, and guiding end-users through technical processes. The specialist will manage tickets, track issues, and escalate unresolved problems to senior IT staff when necessary. Additionally, the Helpdesk Support Specialist will assist with system updates, software installations, and provide basic network support. Effective communication through email, phone, and chat is critical, along with proficiency in using internal IT support tools, such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and IT ticketing systems. A customer service-oriented mindset and problem-solving ability are essential for this role. Previous experience in IT support or a helpdesk environment is preferred but not required. Strong computer literacy and customer service focus are essential.

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to assist users remotely.
  • Familiarity with IT support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Must be located in the following states: Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas.
