As an Area Supervisor at Ross Stores, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales performance. You will play a crucial role in supporting store teams, driving operational efficiency, and implementing company strategies at the store level.

The base salary for this position starts at $65,000, but overall compensation depends on the specific role, location, and experience level.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Monitor store performance by analyzing daily and weekly reports to ensure sales goals are met.
• Collaborate with store management to implement merchandising and operational strategies.
• Ensure that loss prevention policies are effectively enforced to minimize shrink and protect company assets.
• Support new store openings and oversee store layouts to enhance customer experience.
• Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in scheduling, staffing, and training to maintain an efficient and effective workforce.
• Identify operational challenges and propose solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.

People & Leadership Responsibilities:

• Coach and develop store associates to enhance their performance and career growth.
• Ensure proper training programs are executed to maintain high levels of employee engagement and effectiveness.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and company values.
• Lead by example by demonstrating excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong ability to analyze reports and make data-driven decisions.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Retail operations or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
